Wedding Photo Editing Techniques!

Graphic DesignTHE BEFORE PHOTOGRAPH

This wedding photograph was taken last year for a young couple. I didn't charge very much for this pictures. But what I wanted to show is how I the photo by taking out the background and adding a new scene.

As you can see in this photo there is an unwanted background image of a sign. The sky is kind of washed out too so, I had to find or take a photo shot that I could use to replace the background.

I started by clipping the background of the image. I used the marquee tool and out lined the background as close to the limousine and the groom that I could get.

Then taking a small number erase tool with a soft edge and erased the edges getting even closer to my images.

The next step was taking the blur tool with about a 50% Opacity to soften and blend the edges.

In the image below you can see the finished product.

Photo EditingTHE AFTER PHOTOGRAPH

The background of the church was an image I found in my library of images I took years ago. The image matched so well that it is hardly noticeable except for the lighting. So, to solve this problem I converted the image to black and white and it is awesome.
The bride and groom where very happy with the results.
